Hayt, Hayt & Landau’s E-SIGN Agreement
We are required by law to send certain disclosures to you in writing. The federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (“E-Sign Act”), 15 U.S.C § 7001, et seq., permits us to deliver such disclosures electronically if we obtain your consent. This agreement (“E-Sign Agreement”) outlines the scope, duties, and requirements relating to the E-Sign Act.
1. Scope of E-Sign Agreement. The E-Sign Agreement applies to any communications we are required to send to you in writing by federal law. Even if you provide your consent to receive these communications electronically, we may still send written communications to you through the U.S. mail at our discretion or as required by law.
2. Right to Withdraw Consent. You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic communications by deleting you online payment account through our Website. Your withdrawal of consent is effective only after we have had a reasonable time to process it. You are responsible for updating your contact information either through the Website or by contacting us at 1-877-474-0834.
3. Right to Request Paper Copies. You have the right to request that any electronic communication be provided either in paper or other non-electronic form. You may exercise this right by contacting us at 1-877-474-0834. We will not charge you for any such request.
4. Hardware and Software Requirements . To access, view, and retain electronic communications from us, you must have at a minimum:
- a current version of an Internet browser that we support;
- sufficient electronic storage capacity on your device’s hard drive or other data storage unit;
- a valid and active e-mail account;
- a device and an operating system capable of supporting all of the above;
- a printer if you wish to print and retain paper records, or sufficient electronic storage if you wish to retain records electronically; and
- a PDF viewer software (such as Adobe® Acrobat® Reader).
If our hardware or software requirements change in a material way that would preclude you from being able to access or retain your electronic records, we will provide notice of the revised requirements. Continued use of our Website and electronic communications after receiving such notice shall confirm that your device(s) meet the minimum hardware and software requirements.
